The primary aim of the RMS is to prepare students for the All India Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school also prepares boys who wish to join the Indian Armed Forces for the entrance examination of National Defence Academy.
There are five Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) located at :-
1]Chail in the Shimla Hills of Himachal Pradesh 2]Ajmer in Rajasthan. 3] Dholpur in Rajasthan. 4]Belgaum in Karnataka. 5]Bengaluru in Karnataka.
Class VI: Must have passed or be studying in Class V and complete it by the admission date.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 10 to 12 years old as of 31 March of the year of admission.
Class IX Admission
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 13 to 15 years old as of 31 March of the year of admission

ADMISSION PROCESS
Common Entrance Test (CET):
Candidates must appear for the RMS CET, which assesses proficiency in subjects like English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Reasoning.
Interview:
Shortlisted candidates from the CET are called for an interview.
Medical Examination:
Candidates who clear the interview undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the health standards required for admission.
